Dealerloop vs LeadDriver: which fits your dealership?
LeadDriver is the closest thing this comparison set has to a home-ground competitor. It is an Australian-built lead management system, launched by Cox Automotive Australia in April 2024 and now owned by Indiqator Solutions Pty Ltd, part of Constellation Software through its Vela operating group. Its lineage in this market runs back to Dealer Solutions in 1992. Dealerloop is a sales lifecycle engine built only for Australian dealerships. Both answer enquiries with AI. They are not the same shape of product, and for a lot of yards LeadDriver will be the right call.
Choose LeadDriver if
you want one Australian vendor across more than leads. Indiqator also sells dealer websites (Radius), stock publishing (SmartPublisher), finance and insurance (FinanceConnect) and service booking (Xtime), and it serves OEMs, franchise dealers, national groups and single-site dealerships. If your manufacturer already reads your lead performance out of a system it recognises, that is a real advantage and not one Dealerloop can match. LeadDriver’s published feature list also covers loan car management and, through Xtime, service scheduling, neither of which Dealerloop does.
Choose Dealerloop if
the job is narrower and deeper: the carsales enquiry answered end-to-end from your live stock, the test drive booked with a named-salesperson handoff, and the delivery handover run in the same system after the sale. Plus published pricing you can read before you talk to anyone, and a month-to-month agreement.

LeadDriverNot published on the pages we fetched
Where a row says something is not described, not published or not named on the pages we fetched, that is the limit of what we could verify in Indiqator’s published material on 4 August 2026. It is not a statement that the capability does not exist. If we have it wrong, tell us and we will correct the page.
Where to draw the line
This one is honest work, because the overlap is real. LeadDriver’s published pages describe answering leads after hours, holding a conversation over email and text, and following the cold ones for weeks. If you are a franchise dealer whose OEM wants lead reporting in a system it recognises, or you are already paying Indiqator for websites, service booking and stock publishing, adding LeadDriver is the lower-friction move and you should probably make it.
The line is scope and terms. LeadDriver is one module inside a dealer software suite, and neither its price nor its contract terms are published anywhere we could reach, so you will need to ask them. Dealerloop is one job, done end-to-end, priced in public: enquiry, conversation, booked test drive, warm handoff, then the delivery paperwork in week eight. If you want to read the price before the meeting and leave in thirty days if it does not work, that is the difference you are buying.
Frequently asked questions.
Is LeadDriver’s AI the same as Impel’s?
Indiqator’s own published case study, from February 2025 and updated July 2025, credits Impel’s AI technology, so the conversational layer may well be the engine described on our Impel comparison. Its current product pages do not name a supplier, and we have not confirmed who supplies it today. What differs is everything around it: an Australian vendor and an Australian lead management workflow. Read both pages if you are weighing it up.
We already run Xtime and Radius. Can we run both?
Yes. Dealerloop sits alongside your DMS and your existing suite by design. Some dealerships keep their suite for websites, service and stock publishing, and use Dealerloop for the sales conversation and the handover. Nothing has to be ripped out.
What are LeadDriver’s published results?
Indiqator publishes a 25 per cent reduction in unactioned leads, close to five times faster action times, an 11 per cent increase in appointment ratio and a 65 per cent reduction in lead open time. Its two-dealer case study reports that more than 21 per cent of engaged online leads booked an appointment without human intervention. Those are their figures, on their dealers, published by them. We have not audited them, and you should not take ours on faith either: ask both vendors to run the numbers on your own leads.
